College of Liberal Arts is expanding the existing basic liberal arts education center in accordance with the reorganization of our university’s future academic structure to respond to the rapidly changing educational environment and to nurture talents who can lead the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution represented by interdisciplinary convergence. It is newly launched in the form of a college on November 1, 2022.

Starting in 2023, our university will make an innovative change by selecting new students regardless of major. Accordingly, the College of Liberal Arts has newly organized basic science and liberal arts areas to improve students’ basic capabilities, and has strengthened foreign language and digital education. In addition, to help students choose their major, we have newly organized career knowledge courses such as self-development, future planning and major-related courses. Through the new liberal arts education system, students will be encouraged to think convergently, and first-year students will be able to choose a major that suits their talents and aptitude in their second year.

College of Liberal Arts will newly classify and systematize existing liberal arts subjects, while expanding subjects related to social service, eco-friendliness and social responsibility, and ESG related to students’ proper role as future members of society. In addition, we will continue to develop consumer-centered curriculum that reflects the needs of students and make efforts to increase the level and satisfaction of liberal arts education.
