Basic Data Analytics 2 To practice data science and data analytics, this course uses MS Office Excel programs to edit, summarize, analyze, and aggregate data, and cultivate digital-based problem-solving skills to find and utilize meaningful information in data.
Communication Thinking and Communication 3 This course allows students to develop high-quality communication skills by comprehensively dealing with Korean language skills such as reading, writing, listening, and speaking. By reading various texts, students understand the text accurately, and develop the ability to write by logically analyzing and restructuring complex problems.
Foreign Language College EnglishⅠ 2 This introductory course focuses on improving students’ proficiency in English, especially in the areas of listening and speaking. Students will learn basic vocabulary and structures that are necessary to communicate in everyday situations. Through individual and group work, students will increase their confidence in using English effectively.
College English Ⅲ 2 This course is the final in a series of three courses designed to build on the foundational skills taught in the previous two courses. Students will be required to bring together all the knowledge and skills they have acquired in the previous courses to make full use of their productive skills. Students will be taught how to deliver their messages to a specific audience via a formal presentation. Students will also be instructed on how to plan, draft, revise and edit their writing for academic purposes.
Global Core English Ⅰ 1 This course is suitable for students with a TOEIC score of 500 or less. The course aims to gain confidence in the official English test by understanding the overall contents, enhancing the understanding of vocabulary and sentence structure, and learning tricks to solve problems quickly and accurately.
Global Core English Ⅰ(Basic) 1 As the first subject of the liberal arts English curriculum, this course is a competency-based class that can raise students’ basic English education to a certain level. This class aims to improve reading and listening skills. In particular, improving word and grammar knowledge is an important learning goal.
Global English Ⅲ(Advanced) 1 As an advanced class, this course aims for real life application. For international communication, the course aims to improve reading skills based on actual spoken and written data, and to improve listening skills based on various listening materials including English from the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Australia.
Natural·Social Sciences Understanding of Medical Science 2 This course allows students to understand their body correctly from a medical point of view and learn how to maintain and practice a healthy lifestyle on their own. Students will understand the history of medicine and biohealth industry and look forward to the future.
Elementary Life Sciences 3 This course will explain the mystery of life from a scientific perspective, help students learn in detail about the major molecules and cells that make up living things, and further learn about the evolution of life.
Mathematics 3 Students will learn mathematical concepts such as types of functions, transcendental functions (exponential functions, logarithmic functions, trigonometric functions, etc.), matrices, and vectors.
Elementary Statistics 3 Most people living in modern society get information through statistics and graphs from various media in their daily lives. The development of measurement and analysis technology has accelerated the collection and analysis of big data, which requires the production of new information through data collection, processing, and analysis in a number of jobs. This course allows students to learn knowledge as a consumer and producer of statistical information. Students will learn discrete & continuous probability distribution, Bayes theorem, large number of laws, Moment generating function, and Central Limit Theory, which are essential probability theories for understanding statistics, and can understand statistical guesses (estimates, tests) using knowledge of probability.
Introduction to Sociology 3 Students will develop the ability to examine Korea’s major social problems from a social (scientific) perspective by illuminating and analyzing social structural issues related to educational opportunity inequality, education and social movement, labor market policies, and income inequality through classes at the introductory level of sociology, such as understanding modern society.
Korean History 3 Students will learn Korean traditional history from ancient history to the Joseon Dynasty. This course attempts to “re-light” Korean history from the long-term and continuous perspective of Korean history. In particular, Korean history will be carried out by combining the correct perspective and concept of understanding Korean history and furthermore, “history” by paying attention to historical figures and events that have not been noted so far. In this course, classes will be conducted to establish the basic concept of Korean history and the view of history.
General Elective Natural·Social Sciences Meeting Classics and Modernity 3 This course fosters critical and creative thinking skills for humans and the world by building a wide range of culture through reading classics. Furthermore, the course aims to review the ideological foundation of the development of human civilization and analyze the impact on the lives of modern people to prepare a new vision for future life. In this course, CHA University students will have the opportunity to develop logical and analytical judgment and creative thinking skills by reading, writing, and discussing humanities classics related to various topics. It will also be possible to develop the ability to cope with the upcoming new civilization by critically reflecting on the development process of human civilization and modern civilization.
Understanding of Western Philosophy 3 By dealing with the core concepts and theories of Western philosophy under historical, periodic, and social backgrounds from ancient times to modern times, it is possible to acquire a basic knowledge of the roots of Western culture. Furthermore, by dealing with the lives and ideas of representative philosophers representing each era, such as Socrates, Plato, Aristotle, Thomas Aquinas, Martin Luther, Rousseau, and Kant, people who made the history of the world with philosophical ideologies and their ideas are understood.

Sensory music and dance properly deal with our complex lives along with theatrical elements, so that one can enjoy themself well to suit our cultural needs. In this course, students will look at what musicals are, how they are made, and find joy along with a guide so that they can properly watch musicals on their own.
Aesthetics and Art theory 3 This course examines the beauty trends in Western art. Just as art has changed, the idea of beauty has changed with the development of human life. Looking at these changes not only fills historical and cultural knowledge of Western aesthetics and art, but also provides an opportunity to reflect on the beauty nowadays. The course will focus on major scenes where the paradigms of Western art history are established and transformed, and mainly deals with art, but also deals with music, architecture, literature and theater, and photography.
Chinese Characters and idioms 2 This is a course for students who thought they should simply memorize Chinese characters. The process of combining the meaning and vocabulary of each Chinese character is examined through the framework of thought and imagination. Classic Opera 3 Opera is a very elaborate and well-organized a buffet-like music. This course aims to find meaning more than just listening and admiring, being apart from just analyzing, memorizing, and taking knowledge.
Becoming Videographer with Smartphones 2 You are able to identify an individual’s media preference characteristics and understand them technically. In addition to understanding video content production, the course will foster media production capabilities and help students acquire the concept of production from pre-production to post-production.
Pharmacist literature 3 To become a good pharmacist, one must have judgment and implementation to manifest human-centered social values based on empathy as well as scientific and technical skills. Chinese communication 2 This Chinese communication course is designed for students who want to learn Chinese for the first time. The course introduces basic concepts necessary for systematic understanding of Chinese and develops basic Chinese skills. This course focuses on Chinese characteristics (Chinese sentence structure, Chinese pronunciation, intonation) and speaking practice, and provides practical vocabulary and sentences that are often used in everyday life.
Creation and initiation 3 This course is to understand the characteristics of language and the principle of generating words. In this course, students will read various works to prepare a framework for interpretation and identification of poetry. The ability to create poetry is doubled through the narrative description. Students will experience the greatness of Korean poetry by examining how the unique high-context culture of Korean was applied to poetry.

Darwinian Philosophy of Life 3 This course is designed to allow students to scientifically reflect on how life ends and begins again, the history of the evolution of women, men, and gender choices, human nature based on the Darwinian philosophy of life. Modern and Contemporary Korean history 2 This course is designed to learn modern and contemporary Korean history from the Gaehang-gi(Opening of port) to the Korean War. There are two main objectives: First, students will re-examine the Korean history of the modern and contemporary period from the perspective of East Asia and further world history as well as the domestic situation of Korea. History and Philosophy Leadership of a King 2 True leadership is something that is exercised in times of crisis. Monarchs in history were the same, and current leaders must respond appropriately to crises they have never experienced before. Society and Culture Understanding Broadcasting video 3 · Broadcasting video is a byproduct of the era that expresses and contains the spirit, thinking, culture, and emotions of our society through video. If you look at the broadcasting video, you can understand not only the members living in that era, but also politics, economy, society, and culture, as well as the light and shade and problems.

Love language and Personality 2 This course can guide the way to build the foundation for self-esteem and design a mature self to understand others. Human beings are social beings. Students need to know themselves before others understand them. Then you can listen to the other person even if they use a language different from me.
Introduction to Love Studies 3 This course is consisted of a theory that can develop the ability to love from the life development perspective. The power of love runs on two themes: independence and belonging. First, independence is the acquisition of autonomy required in love, that is, intimate relationships, and the establishment of self-esteem. Second, belonging is to learn the practical skills required in intimate relationships and to enhance understanding of the changes in relationships according to the life cycle.
Media Communication 2 This course is designed to train media communication experts, strategic communication experts, video content production experts, health communication experts, and realistic media experts. This course aims to introduce the five major modules provided by media communication majors and explore the structure, technology trends, and career areas of related industries.
Communication and Self-Improvement 3 Communication concerns are always about “how” to communicate. Human speech and writing are close to form. This course is a class where students think about how to convey what they want to talk about and how and how to form it. History of Communication through Mediterranean Visual Arts 2 Modern culture and art were conceived in Mesopotamia and Egypt. Based on this, Greece and Rome left outstanding cultural and artistic achievements, and Byzantine and Islamic incorporation with Christianity complete Mediterranean culture and art. It reconstructs human life, art, and culture, focusing on visual artworks such as paintings, ceramic paintings, sculptures, mosaics, and architecture. Through exciting Mediterranean visual arts, this course aims to understand contemporary culture and art.
Youth Development 2 This course is for students to write self-development reports through the process of self-understanding and self-acceptance. It also consists of time to understand, plan, and prepare for career in the direction of one’s life.

There are microorganisms that live independently in the natural environment, and there are microorganisms that coexist with other living things. They are all essential to the ecosystem and are very closely related to human life. Participation in outdoor sports is increasing rather than indoors, and the popularity of water skiing and wakeboarding is increasing day by day. Therefore, the goal of this course is to lead a sound water sports culture by learning the right teaching methods as well as basic theories and technologies of water sports and learning safety accident prevention practices.
